| Synopsis: An elderly Chinese couple have lost their two children to the bright lights of Beijing. The father goes to the big city in search of his son so that his wife may see him one last time. He stays with his daughter, now a prostitute in a Karaoke bar. Concealing her profession from him, she sends him to a local policeman who was once kind to her. The policeman is about to retire, but the father’s story touches him and the two old men begin their search for his son together. |
