| Synopsis: Paris 1914. Marie, a young illiterate dressmaker, is arrested after she stole a red silk remnant in a big store. In prison, she is examined by Gabriel a famous psychiatrist, who feels the same sensual and intense pleasure with fabrics. They are worlds apart : their environment, their culture and soon the war… Yet, a strange love story grows between them. |
